Contact Absolute Marine
If you are considering a yacht purchase, reviewing survey findings, planning maintenance or refit work, or preparing a vessel for more demanding cruising, contact Alastair to discuss the situation.
You do not need to know which Absolute Marine service you require before getting in touch. An initial email only needs to provide enough information to explain the vessel, what you are trying to achieve and the decision or concern you would like help with.
Information that may be helpful
When contacting Alastair, please include any relevant information that is readily available. This might include:
-
The vessel’s make, model and approximate age
-
Its current location
-
Its present or intended cruising area
-
How the vessel is used or how you intend to use it
-
The technical issue, proposed work or decision you are considering
-
Any relevant purchase, refit or cruising timescale
-
Survey reports, defect lists, contractor quotations, photographs or maintenance records
There is no need to gather everything before making contact. If further information or documents would be useful, Alastair will explain what is required after reviewing the initial enquiry.
What happens next
Every enquiry is reviewed personally by Alastair.
He may ask some initial questions or request supporting information to establish what assistance is required. Where Absolute Marine can help, the proposed scope of work, fee and likely timescale will be confirmed before any work begins.
If the matter falls outside Absolute Marine’s scope or requires input from a surveyor, naval architect, equipment manufacturer or another specialist, this will be made clear.
Email Alastair
Email is the preferred method for initial enquiries, particularly where reports, photographs or other technical information may need to be shared.
Making an initial enquiry does not commit you to proceeding with any work.
