Keep important vessel documents, certificates, inspections and service dates organised in one clear Excel workbook.
The Absolute Marine Vessel Documents & Expiry Tracker provides a structured way to record essential vessel documentation and monitor upcoming renewal or service dates. It helps owners and crew avoid missed expiries, last-minute renewals and important records becoming scattered across emails, folders and onboard paperwork.
Each entry can include the document or item name, category, issuing organisation, reference number, issue date, expiry or next-service date, renewal lead time, storage location, contact information and any required follow-up action.
The workbook automatically calculates the status of each record:
Current — the expiry or service date is outside the selected renewal period
Due Soon — action is required within the chosen lead time
Expired — the recorded expiry or service date has passed
No Expiry Date — no future date has been entered
If no renewal lead time is selected, the tracker automatically uses a 30-day warning period.

This tracker supports vessel administration and record-keeping. It does not determine which documents, certificates or inspections are legally required for a particular vessel, flag state, operating area or intended use. Owners should confirm applicable requirements with the relevant authorities and professional advisers.
